Comparisons

Integrity vs Notion: start with the work—and the bill.

Compare the workspace model, collaboration costs, and the project you actually need to run.

Choose Integrity if you want documents, spatial canvases, and structured project work together, with a subscription that does not grow each time you invite a teammate. Consider Notion when its page-and-database workflows already suit your organization and its specific collaboration or administration features are important to you.

We make Integrity, so this is our perspective—not an independent product test. The useful comparison is a project you can try in both tools. Pricing and competitor features were checked against official sources on September 26, 2026.

The billing unit changes the calculation

Integrity’s current plans charge per workspace and include unlimited teammates, even on Free. AI credits and storage are limited by plan. Adding someone does not add a seat charge.

Notion’s paid plans are priced per member. Guests are a different role, so do not count every external collaborator as a paid member. Its pricing page also lists usage-based charges for Custom Agents. Check the selected currency, billing cycle, and needed AI features when you price your own setup. Source: Notion pricing.

Question Integrity Notion
What drives the base paid subscription? Workspace plan Paid member count and plan
Does adding a teammate add a seat charge? No Additional paid members affect the subscription
What else belongs in the budget? AI usage and workspace capacity Required plan features and any usage-based extras
Can I compare plans by name alone? No No

This is a comparison of billing structures, not a claim that Starter and Plus—or Pro and Business—include the same things. Our workspace pricing guide explains current Integrity prices and the shared credit allowance.

A comparison of billing units, not feature-equivalent plans or a total-cost estimate. AI usage and other plan requirements belong in the calculation too.

Try a project with context and tasks

Use a small launch as the trial. Write a brief, create a task database, assign owners, and review a record while consulting the brief. Then gather references and decide where spatial arrangement helps.

In Integrity, a canvas can hold working material while separate panes keep a document and a database visible together. The outline underneath lets a short note grow into a more structured piece of work. See the launch walkthrough.

Do the equivalent project in Notion using the features your team would actually adopt. Notice the number of context switches, how easy it is to find the reasoning behind a task, and whether another person can continue the work without an explanation.

Compare AI with a real request

Both products offer AI that works with workspace content. Notion advertises an agent, meeting notes, and connected search; it is not accurate to describe it as merely a separate chat box. Availability depends on plan. Source: Notion pricing.

Give each product the same bounded task: read the brief, identify missing decisions, and propose a checklist without inventing owners or dates. Inspect the result and the usage cost. Count the corrections you need to make, not just how quickly text appeared.

Look at the requirements that can decide it

List the permissions, administration controls, integrations, file handling, and offline behavior your team requires. Verify them against the particular plan and your devices. A lower subscription price does not compensate for a missing requirement.

Notion already supports offline use in its desktop and mobile apps; compare the documented behavior rather than assuming it always needs a connection. Source: Notion offline guide.

Migrate one project before the workspace

Integrity can import a Markdown ZIP, including material exported from Notion. That is a content migration, not a promise that permissions, comments, database behavior, or every attachment will transfer identically.

Try a representative project and inspect the result. Keep the original until you have checked the structure and important material. The right choice should survive a real handoff, not just a comparison table.

Try it with your next project.
